What OEE and machine monitoring software actually costs in India
Most vendors in this category will not put a number on a page. We will. Here is the full ThingConnect price list, what the one-time costs are, the arithmetic that decides whether it pays for itself, and how the pricing models in this market actually differ.
The price

Billed annually — about ₹28,835 per machine per year, or roughly ₹2,400 a month. Cloud hosting, every dashboard and report, unlimited users, and support are all inside that number. There are no modules to unlock.

The price steps down with machine count. Steps, never feature gates — a 60-machine plant and a 6-machine shop run the same software.

The one-time costs, stated up front
Deployment — ₹40,000 to ₹75,000, once
Scaled by machine count. Covers the site survey, gateway hardware and installation, controller connection, and operator training. Charged once, not annually.
60-day pilot — ₹50,000, fully creditable
One line, up to 10 machines, fixed price, with success criteria agreed up front. If you go ahead, the whole ₹50,000 comes off your first invoice.
What is never charged extra
Users. Operator tablets. TV/andon screens. Dashboards, reports, WhatsApp alerts, Excel export, cloud hosting, updates and support are all in the per-machine price.
Does it pay for itself?
Work it the other way round. At a machine-hour rate of ₹1,200, the subscription costs four minutes of machine time per day. Recover four of the minutes you currently cannot account for, and the day is paid for.

How the pricing models compare
In this market the headline rate matters less than what the rate includes. A low base price with three paid modules on top is not a low price. Here is what each vendor publishes.

A figure appears in the “price published” column only where the vendor publishes it themselves — the Predator MDC figures are from Predator’s own website and cover a licence for eight machines. Where a vendor does not publish a price, we say so rather than quoting a number from a private quotation. Vendor packaging changes; check directly before making a decision on it.
Common questions about cost
How much does OEE software cost in India?
For CNC machine monitoring in the Indian mid-market, expect a per-machine annual subscription plus a one-time deployment charge. ThingConnect is ₹79 per machine per day billed annually — about ₹28,835 per machine per year — dropping to ₹67 at 11–25 machines and ₹59 at 26 or more. Deployment is a one-time ₹40,000–₹75,000 depending on machine count. Most Indian vendors quote in this per-machine-per-day format; several publish no price at all.
What does a 10-machine plant pay in the first year?
At list price: 10 machines × ₹28,835 = ₹2,88,350 for the subscription, plus a one-time deployment fee in the ₹40,000–₹75,000 band. If you start with the ₹50,000 pilot, that amount is credited against the subscription, so it is not an additional cost.
Why publish a price when most vendors do not?
Because you are trying to budget, and a quote-only page wastes your time and ours. The price is the same whether you are a 12-machine job shop or a 200-machine plant — the volume steps are published above and there are no feature gates to negotiate around.
Is the price per machine or per user?
Per connected machine. Supervisors, operators, and management all use it at no extra licence cost, and operator tablets and andon TV screens do not carry a per-screen fee.
Is there a cheaper option for small shops?
The 60-day pilot at ₹50,000 is the low-commitment entry point — one line, up to 10 machines, and creditable in full against a subscription if you continue. We do not sell a feature-limited cheap tier, because a shop that cannot see downtime reasons has not really bought machine monitoring.
What drives the deployment cost up or down?
Machine count, how many controllers already have an Ethernet port available, and network layout. The site survey settles all three before you get a fixed quote — connectivity risk is ours to find in the survey, not yours to discover afterwards.
